  My visit to Kundapura By Sujata Dabolkar From October 17-19 , I visited Kundapura town along with my husband Mr. Prathamesh Naik by a roadways. Kundapura also known as kundapur is a coastal town situated in the Udipi district of the state of Karnataka. We started our journey from Margao at 9:30 am on 17 th October 2020. The distance from Margao to Kundapur is 244Km via NH 66 and it was five hours and twenty two minutes journey. On the way we were mesmerized by the beauty of the nature at Karmal ghat in Canacona taluka.   An open road can be a fun and exciting place where you can make amazing memories. We crossed the kali river bridge and reached the Karwar where we visited the rock garden. on the way we came across main towns such as Belekeri, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar the port town of Uttara Kannada followed by Murdeshwar and Bhatkal.   Notes From Visit To Perth, Australia Sujata Dabolkar As a PhD scholar working on biomining of Gold, I was invited by the organizer AuSIMM (Australasian Institute of mining and Metallurgy) as a student delegate to Perth, located in the western part of Australia to attend the World Gold Conference, 2019 (WGC-2019) on the theme-‘ Unlocking sustainable value from Gold deposits” organised by AuSIMM), the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) and the Canadian Institute of mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). The conference witnessed 150 delegates from 30 Gold producer countries, nine key note addresses, 56 technical presentations, 10 E posters and 50 top mining companies exhibiting their services and products.   My visit to Trondheim, Norway By Sujata Dabolkar From September 11-14 , I visited Trondheim which is beautifully situated in the middle of Norway by the Trondheim fjord to attend the international Nature conference: Minerals and Materials for a Sustainable Future organized by Geological Survey of Norway (GSN), and others. In the month of August, I got an invitation letter from the conference organizers Mr. Tom Heldal, director of Geological resources and environment (GSN). It was my first visit to any foreign country. My route covered Goa to Doha, Doha to Oslo (Capital of Norway) and from Oslo to Trondheim. My journey started on 10 th September from Dabolim international airport covering around 2598 kms to Hamad international airport, Doha.   Aesthetics of travelling from Carmona to Mobor By Sujata Dabolkar  Salcete blessed by Zuari to the east and Arabian Sea towards the east and drained by the lifeline Sal river rose up from the receding Arabian sea about twenty thousand years ago. And a mosaic of landscapes was created by toiling hands in shaping the farms, the bundhs, lakes, creeks, rows of thick coconut plantations and geometric salt pans.   Travelling anywhere in Salcete is an aesthetic experience especially during the monsoon.   From Caisua to Carmona: Notes on a new life By Sujata Dabolkar  I was born and brought up in Caisua, a very beautiful village situated on the banks of river Chapora in Bardez taluka in North Goa. My childhood was spent playing in the sand and swimming in Chapora river. Early morning, I could see the sunrise from my backyard. I admired nature sitting on the terrace of my house. Looking at the river and enjoying the evening tea while hearing the sound of the birds became routine. I still remember the days when I used to go for my morning walks on Vagator beach and also to the Chapora fort, the archaeological monument. From the top of the Chapora fort, one can see the Morjim beach on the right side and Vagator beach to the left and Indian ocean to the north.
